Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

TriviaPal ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website and mobile application at trivia-pal.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. TriviaPal is designed to work offline, and we do not require you to create an account to play.

Information We Do Not Collect

TriviaPal is built as an offline-first experience. We do not require you to sign up, log in, or provide a name or email address to play the game. Question packs are stored locally on your device. Your gameplay scores and settings are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Information We May Collect

  • Device identifier: When you make a purchase, we generate and store an anonymous device identifier so we can recognize which premium packs you have unlocked. This identifier is not linked to your name or email.
  • Payment information: Purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with a transaction identifier and the amount paid so we can fulfill your purchase.
  • Contact submissions: If you send us a message through our Contact page, we receive the name, email, and message you choose to provide.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns, such as which screens are visited. Google may use cookies to collect this data. You can opt out through your browser settings or Google's Ads Settings.

How We Use Information

  • To deliver and unlock the premium content you purchased.
  • To respond to messages you send via the Contact page.
  • To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymous analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third parties, each with their own privacy practices:

  • Stripe — processes payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Google Analytics — measures usage. See google.com/policies/privacy.
  • Google AdSense — may display ads on free portions of the Service. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Children's Privacy

TriviaPal is suitable for general audiences, but the Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Choices

  • You can clear local game data at any time from your device settings.
  • You can disable analytics cookies through your browser or Google's opt-out tools.
  • You can request deletion of any contact submission by reaching out via our Contact page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
