Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the TriviaPal website and mobile application at trivia-pal.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Your Account

TriviaPal is offline-first and does not require an account to play. Premium purchases are tied to an anonymous device identifier. You are responsible for maintaining access to the device used to make a purchase, as entitlements are device-based and cannot be transferred between devices.

Purchases and Licenses

• Some question packs and an All-Access Bundle are available for one-time purchase through Stripe. Prices are displayed on the Packs page before checkout.
• Purchases grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access that content within the Service on the device used to make the purchase.
• A 30-day free trial may make certain expansion questions available at no cost. When the trial ends, those questions become locked unless you purchase the All-Access Bundle.
• All sales are final except where a refund is required by law. See our Refund Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, or resell question content from the Service.
• Attempt to unlock, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls for premium content.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its third-party providers.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its questions, design, and branding, is owned by TriviaPal and protected by intellectual property laws. Purchase of a pack grants a license to use the content as described above, not ownership of the content itself.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for usage measurement, and may display ads via Google AdSense. Each third party's terms and privacy policy apply to your use of their services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that question content is accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TriviaPal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any purchase made through the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
